This tent was easy to set up and take down… it’s lightweight and fits back in the packaging after use. I definitely recommend this tent for backpacking but you want to seal the corners as soon as you get it. Nothing like wanting to stay dry and your tent gets a puddle forming in the corner of it…

Customer Review: LEAKS… BAD!!!
The first night we used this a thunderstorm rolled in. It wasn’t extremly sever, but it did last about an hour. Every seam leaked, horribly. By the end of the rain we had standing water in the tent. We ended up cutting our trip short, and returned it the following day. I was very unsatisfied with this tent, which is sad because all previous coleman tents I’ve used in the past faired nicely in the rain.

I love my new Coleman tent. I have always had Coleman tents and was looking forward to using this new cabin tent, as I bought it during the winter and this past weekend was our first time using it. It went up easy and kept us completely dry during a massive rain & wind storm. I love all the openness of the tent, lots of windows, doors, and the ceiling also. The only thing was that it said it only takes 3 poles, which is true in a round-about way…the three poles that are used to put up the tent each consist of three poles before you can use them to put up the tent…so really there are more than three poles.

Customer Review: Ultimate Tall-Man Tent
I two of these tents and both are the 2007 version. If you turn the tent 90 degrees and sleep length-wise - at 100 inches - this tent is the ultimate tall-man tent. Each person gets a vestibule and even an extra long sleeping bag doesn’t touch the tent at head or tow. I have two of these tents - one for me and my wife and another for the kids. This tent is quite roomy for two tall or large adults or 4 kids.
