For the past 8 years…this is my go-to tent for solo/winter trips. I don’t think there’s a better 2-person/4-season tent for the money! This tent (like my Timberlines) is free-standing which means I can pitch the tent and then move it around until I find just the right spot before staking the guylines and vestibules. I cannot say enough about the features. Double vestibules for gear, lots of extra vents that can zipped closed or left open depending on weather conditions and lots of accessory pockets to keep small items off the floor. The tent is rated for 2 people but you won’t have room for much gear other than bedrolls. I use it most for solo trips and then the pack and the dog both fit, too!
